14.11.2025: ISTA-12 Announced
ISTA-12 will take place in Neuchâtel, hosted by Prof. Edward Mitchell and the Laboratory of Soil Biodiversity. More information about dates, program, and registration will be released soon.
26.06.2025 Creation of the ISTAR!
Great news! During ISTA 11, held at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada (June 23–27), the official establishment of the International Society of Testate Amoebas Research (ISTAR) was approved. The very first committee was also elected.
This marks an important milestone for our community, strengthening our collective efforts to promote, coordinate, and advance testate amoeba research worldwide.
